Windows 10: Windows native photo/video viewer Microsoft Photos/Movies & TV does gives error 0x80070057...

This is an expanded question based on a previous post that was never adequately answered, with similar questions frequently asked. I would have replied there, but the thread was locked. Similarly to the linked post, I was attempting to use the trim feature found in the Microsoft photos and video applications to cut out unnecessary parts of a video. The video was stored on an external hard drive, along with other photos and videos to avoid filling up the internal hard drive memory on the computer. When I attempted to trim the video I received the following error message:"PhotosPlease try again.

Start Menu Remove Edge/Movies&TV/Photos/Settings/VideoEditor/Security

How/is there any way to remove either of these instances from the app list? I don't want to uninstall the apps, just remove them from the Start Menu. (Microsoft Edge, Movies & TV, Photos, Settings, Video Editor, Windows Security)

Microsoft Photos Giving Errors

Sadly, I uninstalled Photos because I wanted to try reinstalling it. Now I can't get it back. When I go the Microsoft Store and try to reinstall Photos, a box will either pop up for a split second or it will give an error saying to turn of the firewall. I have Malwarebytes installed and that's in place of the Windows firewall. When I uninstalled Malwarebytes and rebooted, I still cannot download Photos. And when I tried to turn on the firewall, it won't let me. I do have a backup system image I was thinking about using but I've never done that before. I know what to do but I would rather try to fix this issue. What's a good alternative to Photos? Certain photo apps on the Microsoft Store will not work for some reason. Like 123 Photo Viewer.

 

Error 0x80070057 while playing the .ts format video in movies and tv app.

When we are trying the .ts extension video in movies and tv app we are getting this Error 0x80070057 .

Could you please answer error 0x80070057 stand for???
