Windows 10: Windows need to have isolation. They need to change how application installed and run

Windows from beginning virus and malware magnet. Because their whole system is bad infrastructure. Because of speed they sacrificed the isolation.

I think windows need to run all packages expandable installation file.


Step

1. Compressed Installable Zip file

2. Expanded zip file That can be expanded more with its own data. It mean it can have its own registry inside the zip file , it can have its own data.


OS can run the program calling that expanded custom zip file. OS look for registry setting which point to correct exe file and other info. And update the any new dll into its application registry if its needed based on flag set by application. Some time updated dll may break the application.

Any new data can be created inside the expanded zip file with custom directories. Basically like unix everything is a file. I think windows need to copy that concept for software installation and running the software.


This way any malware inside the expanded zipfile wont touch anything. In will be stuck inside.


Basically a sandbox file that is not destroyed when app closes.


May be it take a few extra milli second to access file inside expanded zip file . There is no conpression. It is just wrapped into a file. The program running do not have access outside the file. Also there can be a property where file can have network access or not. it is user preference on demand usage.


I thought windows has to stop this exe format to run program. Need to run as a package not as a single file.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

"Application Install install package failure!" while installing 13.9

Running Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and MSI 6970 Lightning.

I was upgrading from 13.4 after I did a clean uninstall with AMD Catalyst Install Manager.

Doesn't say what installation failed in the install log. Everything in the log says Success but at the very bottom it says "Application Install: install package failure!" but doesn't say what failed to install.

I only install video drivers and no CCC.

The only thing I noticed is AMD Catalyst Install Manager is not listed in my programs list.

 

Insurgency wont install and run for me....

I have played and have fully updated CS and Half life 2....
I am using the newest client and installed the SDK.

I am completely blown away, if i click the desktop icon it starts the sdk and then closes, and it doesn't show up in my game list...

First mod attempt install here, followed the directions step by step on the mods website...

Any ideas?
