Windows 10: Windows Network Drive Saying password required on other device but i set no pass required

I set Up my hard drive on my pc to be networked on the network in my house but when i try to access it on my other laptop it says password required but no pass word works and i turned password required off on the main pc Help PleaseBoth Computers Are Running Windows 11main pc specs Ryzen 7 Rtx 3070 ti 32GB ddr4 Laptop specs I5 8500m 8GB ddr4

Enable Require password on Wake up Windows 10

To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest disabling and
enabling the Require a password on wakeup settings on your power plan
by following the steps below:

• Open the Advanced power settings for your current chosen
  power plan.
• Click on the Change settings that are currently unavailable link.
• Set the Require a password on wakeup settings to Yes
  or No, and click on OK.

Once done with the steps, let us know how it goes.

 

Windows 10 Ignoring setting of "No Password Required"

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I've tried the suggestions from Amit, checked out the link he provided but no luck. Windows 10 still insists on having a password. There is only one account on the PC. It has administrator rights. Every setting
I can find for passwords is set to no password required, yet Windows 10 requires a password when signing on to the local account.

Suggestions please.

I suggest you to try the steps given below:

Just to confirm, follow the steps and check if it resolves:

a) Press Windows and X key together and select
Power options.

b) Click on the Choose what power button does option at the right pane of the window.

c) Select “Require a password on wakeup” from the left side options. Click on Change settings that are currently unavailable.

d) Uncheck on “Require a password (recommended)” option and select “Don’t require a password”.

e) Click on save changes.

f) Right Click within an empty space on the desktop screen. Select
Personalize.

g) Click on Screensaver from the options at the bottom of the screen.

h) Uncheck the box which says “On resume, display logon screen”.
