  1. Windows Networking Troubleshooter Tool Returns Error - Windows could not automatically...

Machine is connected to Ethernet via a router behind a cable modem. I own both devices. Condition persists when the system is connected directly to the modem. Condition is not found on other Windows 10 devices connected to Wifi. This would seem to eliminate the router as the culprit.

Here are Troubleshooting Steps Attempted So Far -

    • Reset Windows Networking on the Network & Internet Settings Status Page. This did not solve the issue.
    • I downloaded and installed the latest Intel Network Adapter Update Utility. Update ran successfully. Reboot system. This did not solve the issue.
    • Reset router and modem by unplugging and powering back on. Didn’t work.
    • Uninstalled Netflix Windows Store app using Revo Uninstaller. Windows Store will not allow reinstall as it does not detect internet. Netflix works fine in FF browser.
    • Ran System File Checker. No integrity violations found.
    • Ran DISM Scan Health. No component store corruption found.
    • Uninstalled Anti-virus (Bitdefender) using Revo - Did not solve issue (Since Reinstalled)
    • Reset TCP/IP - Didn't Work
    • Unchecked Automatically Detect Settings in Internet Properties -> LAN Settings - Did not work
    • Reset Internet Explorer Settings and Deleted Personal Settings in Internet Properties - Didn't work

    System Info

    • Windows 10 Pro 1909 w/March 2020 update applied.
    • Drivers are believed to be up to date.
    • BIOS is known to be current.
    • System is free of detectable malware
    • NordVPN client installed, issue persists whether I am connected to a VPN or not.
    • WiFi is turned OFF via the slide switch in Network & Internet Settings/Wireless adapter is disabled in Device Manager
    • Enable DNS server address automatically is selected in adapter settings
    • Proxy automatically detect settings is set to off in proxy settings
    • Proxy server option is unchecked in Internet Properties -> LAN Settings

Can anyone see something I am missing?
