Windows 10: Windows no longer detects my third monitor

I was using a dual monitor set up, with the laptop monitor as a third display. I had an HDMI cable directly plugged in, and a second HDMI cable connect through a USB C adapter. I used my computer on it's own for a day, but when I plugged it back in to my workspace it will not recognize a third monitor. It will use either one of the external displays, but it will not use both at the same time. How can I get the computer to detect both external displays, with or without the laptop monitor?Why did it suddenly change without me making any changes to the settings?

Windows 10 no longer DETECTs the second display.

Windows 10 no longer DETECTs the second monitor on my surface pro.

It used to detect the Dell S2440L, but I moved locations and set the second monitor up again after it being disconnected for -1- month.

It no longer detects the second monitor. Also, the driver is not listed in Device Manager/Drivers list.

 

Third monitor no longer detected upgraded all drivers

I would suggest you to Unplug and the plug all the cables connecting your monitors and check.



I would suggest you to Refer the article to check if all the settings are correct for the third monitor.

If this does not help, then you can uninstall and reinstall the display drivers and check.

Follow these steps:

• 
  Press Windows key +x and select
  Device Manager.
  
• 
  Search for the Display Adapters and expand it.
  
• 
  Right click on the Display Adapters and
  Uninstall.
  

Now download the updated drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

External monitors no longer detected

Have been using 2 external monitors with my surface laptop via a surface dock, and as of today they are no longer detected.
