Windows 10: Windows not activated after update to 24H2

Hi!So after checking updates on my pc this week I saw that the update to Windows 11 24H2 was available for my PC.I manually clicked install, and everything went great. Until 1 day later, I randomly got a message saying my PC was not activated anymore.It has been activated for 1,5 years with the message "Activated with digital license on your Microsoft account".I tried to use the Troubleshooter in Settings > System > Activation, but it only says "We were not able to activate Windows on this device, buy a license from the store". There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

Oh. Your "Registry" must have gotten screwed up FLY3R. If for some reason you couldn't download your updates I suppose you could go to the update site, and run throught the steps 'till it fails activation. Then you could go up to "Tools > Manage Add ons > then disable "Windows Genuine Advatage Validation Tool." Of course you should only use this method if you are having problems updating your legitamate copy of Windows XP. Perhaps do to a corrupted piece of software? *Smile
