Windows not allowing monitor driver manual update.

There is no standard way to replace the monitor drivers that works. The old ways always revert back to a 2006 driver version and they wont recognize the new drivers when I browse the file. How do you get Microsoft to pull their head out and fix this issue where we can load manufacturer drivers that we have downloaded from THE MANUFACTURERS WEBSITE. And the driver is signed certified.

    :)

  3. Loosing second monitor by updating the graphic driver on win10-64bit

    Hi,

Your concern regarding the undetected second display after updating the driver can be caused by an improper display configuration or a possible driver related issue. To isolate your concern, we'd like to ask the following:

    • Which Windows build version is running on your device? Type
winver in the search box and press Enter to help you identify the build.
    • If your device is running on a later version, we suggest that you download and install the latest update by following the steps provided on this
      link. You can check the
Windows 10 update history to see the list of the update.
    • What are the troubleshooting steps that you've performed to resolve your concern?

To rule out any driver related issues, we suggest that you uninstall and delete the affected driver, then download and reinstall the latest driver from the manufacturer's site. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Press the Windows + X key, then select
      Device Manager
      .
    • Locate and right-click the affected display adapter.
    • Select Properties.
    • Under the Driver tab, select Uninstall Device.

    • Check the box for Delete the driver software for this device.
    • Select Uninstall or OK to complete the change.
    • Once you're done, run the driver software to install it manually.
    • Restart the device if prompted, and then check if the display was setup properly. You can follow the steps on this
      Forum Article created by
Andre Da Costa on how to add multiple monitors.

In the event that the issue persists, repeat steps 1 to
    3
, then select Roll Back Driver to revert to the previous version and isolate if concern is affected by an incompatible driver version.

We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.
