    Windows not booting after update


    after update and shutdown cannot start computer get blue screen Recovery Error code 0xc000000e. Windows usb media will not run either and does not show in bios screen as a boot option only windows Boot manager -dual boot - 2 drives no USB boot option.Using Paragon HD manager recovery media it reads and loads HDM only on USB 2ports not on USB 3 ports. Once loaded will not read backup drives on USB 3 but only on USB 2 ports.

    Windows XP Error: Could not Boot after update

    repairing windows will just fix any damaged files, id suggest taking off your over clocking settings the try booting in, maybe when you updated you also updated some censoring device which is now causing you a problem with your over clock settings.

    Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
