    Windows not booting up


    I have Windows 10 which was upgraded from windows 8


    Whenever i switch on the PC, i get this message

    The operating system couldn't be loaded because the system registery file is missing or corrupt

    File \windows\system32\config\system

    error code 0xc0000225


    i have tried automatic repair, pc reset, system restore, restoration to older version of windows but nothing is working

    windows xp installation and dual core am

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
