Windows 10: Windows not Detecting 3rd monitor

Hi, I have 3 monitors and as soon as I enter into windows OS my 3rd monitor is not being recognized. When booting the bios startup screen is shown on the 3rd monitor. I have dual boot, and when booting into my linux os the third monitor is recognized. I have 4 ports on my NVIDIA GeForce 3060 gpu, 2 dpi and 2 Hdmi. The 3rd monitor is connected to one of the hdmi ports, i tried switching the hdmi port connections to see if it was my monitor or gpu being affected, and this switches which monitor is active. Which of course means for some reason windows isn't recognizing the port itself. I've tried

To better understand your query, kindly reply to the following questions.

1. Did you try setting up the cables again?

2. Did you try giving the recommended resolution and check if the monitor is detected?

I would suggest you to make sure that the monitors are connected to the correct video port.

However, you can go to the device manager and disable the monitor which is not working.

Follow the steps below.

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Device Manager.
• Expand the Monitors.
• Right-click on the monitor and select Disable.
• After sometime, try re-enabling it and check if the device gets detected.

I mentioned at start of this thread the following

In display settings, it is only detecting 2 monitors. One of these is my Laptop and the other is my monitors. Both the monitors are showing the same display but are being counted as 1 monitor

So your latest suggestion is not working either.
