Windows 10: Windows not detecting GPU , but can be detected in different bootable hard drive

So I recently formatted and installed a new hard drive and installed windows into it. After I finished setting up windows I tried to install a GPU update for my NVIDIA 1060 but instead, it gave me an error stating that my pc isn't compatible. So I checked to see if my GPU was plugged in properly and it was. Then I went to my device manager and I couldn't find the display adapter. I checked to see if it was hidden and I found that it was still giving me the same error that it wasn't plugged in. I used a spare 500GB HDD that has windows installed in it. Lo, and behold I found the display adapter

windows 7 not detecting hard drive

I have this model WD5000AAKS

It prompts me to load a driver, but according to the windows website, it should not. This hard drive is detected in my bios, but not by the OS. This is a fresh install, and there is currently no OS installed on this hard drive.

Does anyone have any solutions for me to try?

GPU not detected

I have been slowly rebuilding my old desktop. Some of the parts are old, but I have currently upgraded the RAM, mobo, CPU and hard drive. I would like to try and keep it where it is at instead of spending more money on it. I am experiencing an issue with
detecting the graphics card. I have a monitor hooked up to the graphics card and, obviously, I can see what is going on. So I know that the GPU is being detected, but when I got to device manager, I cannot find the GPU anywhere. I have also typed in the
command

into command prompt and it also says that the only video card I am using is the Windows Basic Display Adapter. I have checked online and the GPU is compatible with the motherboard so I know that isn't an issue. For reference the GPU is a GTX 560 Ti. I
know it is a bit older, but I don't really need to update for the games I play. I just need it to work. Are there any other suggestions as to what I should do? I have listed my current build below.

OS: Windows 10 home edition 64 bit

Mobo: ASROCK x370 Gaming k4

RAM: EVGA DDR4 16GB

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600x Six Core Processor

As you are facing issues with accessing hard drive on your computer, we will help you with this issue.

Do let us know the following to assist you better:

• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• What is the complete error message/ error code while trying to access the hard drive?
  

Step 1: As a workaround, I suggest you to do the following to detect the issue:

• Connect the hard drive to different port and check if the issue persists.
• Connect different hard drive to the same port and check.
• Connect different hard drives to different ports and check.

Step 2: If the device is not detected on your computer try to run
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter as it checks for common problems and makes sure that any new device or hardware connected to your PC is installed correctly.

• Press Windows key from the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select it.
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner of
  Troubleshooting window.
• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware and Device
  Troubleshooter

Step 3: I suggest you to check if there are any drivers with yellow exclamatory mark in the Device Manager.

• Press Windows + X from the keyboard, click on
  Device Manager.
• Right click on the detected driver, click on Properties
  and check the device status.
