    HiI recently switched laptops. I purchased win 11 pro license on old device. While switching to new device, I complete reset the old one But while trying to upgrade the new one to win 11 pro, it's asking me to purchase again.

    Purchase of win 11 pro upgrades device to windows 11 enterprise

    I upgraded from win 10 home on my Surface 4 to win 11 home. Then purchased the win 11 pro from the app store. However, now windows thinks that I am running Windows 11 Enterprise with an invalid license and I cannot activate it. How can I activate Windows 11 Pro, the version I purchased.

    How to I transfer my Windows 11 Pro license key to a new computer?

    About 3 months ago I purchased a Windows 11 pro upgrade for my Windows 11 Home edition HP laptop.

    That laptop just died due hardware issues and I purchased a new ASUS laptop with Windows 11 Home edition and would like to upgrade it to the Windows 11 pro on this new laptop since I have already purchased a Win 11 pro license.

    The main issue I am having is that I don't have the serial key for the Windows 11 Pro license I purchased. Looked everywhere and cannot find the serial key!

    Free upgrade from Windows 11 Home to 11 Pro using 10 Pro retail license

    My current computer has an activated Windows 10 Pro retail license. I'm planning to replace my current computer by buying a new computer that comes preinstalled with Windows 11 Home, and then I understand I can use my 10 Pro license to upgrade to 11 Pro for free.

    What's the most straightforward way of accomplishing this? The obvious approach that comes to mind involves two steps:

    1. Reinstall Windows 10 Pro on new computer and activate with my existing retail license.
    2. Upgrade new computer to 11 Pro for free through the settings.
    Is there a simpler way of doing this without having to reinstall Windows 10? For example, would it be possible to somehow "trade in" my Windows 10 Pro license for 11 Pro? I'm fairly new to Windows licensing and am just trying to understand what is possible/best practice, with minimal effort.
