Windows 10: Windows not loading properly

I had my PC boxed up for about a month while we moved and ever since I have hooked it back up I have had this persistent issue. First, after logging in, it seemed like Windows would not fully load. Half my icons would remain blank along with the task bar which had a loading symbol when hovering over it with the mouse. I then restarted my computer and the same thing would happen. However, this time, once I clicked on the task bar the screen would flash and everything would load in as it should. I can then use my computer fine for browsing and gaming but it would eventually freeze and shut down

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

You may try to run the game in compatibility mode and check if ti helps.

Compatibility mode runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

Follow the below steps:

• Right-click on the setup file of the game and select
  Properties.
• Select Compatibility tab.
• Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the
  previous version of Windows from the drop down list.
• Let the driver install and then check the functionality.
