    WINDOWS NOT LOADING


    Hi folks,

    I have acquired an Acer Aspire laptop 5742 which I have been using for the past few weeks, but it has suddenly shut down on me. I do not have a boot disc to try to get it to reboot but I have made a Windows 10 -64bit system repair disc from another computer. I have tried using it but all it does is load the windows logo and then offer some troubleshooting options, most of which I have tried but to no avail. I would appreciate any advice to try and get it up and running again.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
