  1. Windows not realising it has sound devices connected

Hello.Firstly, yes I have tried reinstalling drivers, rebooting the machine, everything except a factory reset, which is the next step unless someone can figure out this problem.See the below screenshot for a summary of the problem.Device manager can see my audio devices. These rarely show up in the System>Sound settings window at boot. They sometimes appear on their own after some minutes, sometimes I can force them by disabling and re-enabling the drivers. In a brand new bit of windows annoyance, EVEN THOUGH the devices now show up in the System>Sound settings window, and EVEN THOUGH I

Project connect to wireless device issue

Thanks for this suggestion; it's made me realise that I think it might be a problem with my tv after all, because now it won't come up anymore in the list of devices. I better check out some help for this tv; maybe something got turned off by mistake.

Thanks :Windows not realising it has sound devices connected :)

  3. No sound as PC is connected to a bluetooth device.

    Hi Samuel,

As per your description, I understand that there is no sound in your PC as it shows that it is currently connected to a Bluetooth device which you do not recognize.

Before we proceed, I would like you to provide the information stated below:

    1. Have you connected your PC to Bluetooth speakers?

    2. Do you recognize the device that is connected to your PC?

    3. Does the Bluetooth device display under Control Panel > Devices and Printers?

For now, I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if you will be able to remove the device in question.

To remove the device from your PC, follow the steps below

    • Select Start > Settings > Devices >
      Bluetooth.
    • Select the paired Bluetooth device that you want to remove > Remove device >
      Yes.

Your reply is very important to ensure that we provide the appropriate resolution. Do provide the above information so that we can proceed further.

    Regards

    Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue Windows not realising it has sound devices connected :p
