  1. Windows not recognized when booting

Hi, the last few days i tried to install Linux on my computer without any USB or DVD by creating a VHD and converting it into MBR, but when i restarted my pc i couldn't find my second disk, so i changed settings in my UEFI, but not only it didn't work i also can't access Windows anymore, it tells me :"Missing operating system.Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and presse a key"When I go to my UEFI I can't find Windows as an option in my Boot settings. I tried to change every Boot options but i doesn't work.I would be grateful if someone could help

    :)

USB stick previously used as a boot stick for Killdisk not recognized

    Try method 2 under Windows 7 8 10 here:
Free to Remove Readonly Attribute in Windows

Method 2: Clear readonly status with Diskpart

In Windows 10, 8, 7 OS, you are also able to run Diskpart in Command Prompt to clear read-only attribute on any partition on your computer. You can follow the tutorial below:

Step 1. Open Command Line and type Diskpart
    Step 2. Type list disk
Step 3. Type select disk (disk number)
Step 4. Type attributes disk clear readonly

    Then try Clean

  4. Windows not recognized when booting

SATA drive not being recognized on Gigabyte Mobo

After I updated the BIOS to the latest version 8 I was able to have the SATA recognized.
After running sfc /scannow for maintenance I can't get the SATA drive to boot first. It is recognized in the BIOS and is listed first in the boot order under Advanced BIOS Features.

When the IDE drive boots it is not recognized in either Windows Explorer or disk management.

Any thoughts on why I can't see the SATA drive anymore would be appreciated.
