    Windows Not Recognizing Earphones


    Good Morning,I have a laptop with an Earphone/AUX port which has stopped working for some time. They work but sometimes, i have to run 'Audio Troubleshoot' every time i want to use my earphones, Sometimes this also doesn't help recognizing them. The port and earphones are working fine, just there is some problem with drivers or software. I would be thankful if someone could help me fix this issue.About my laptopWindows Not Recognizing Earphones :Dell Vostro 3500Windows Professional

    Does windows 10 recognize when earphones are plugged in?

    I would like to inform that Windows 10 does recognize and display a prompt when earphones are plugged in. I would like to ask if you are able to listen to sound from the earphone when plugged in.

    I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

    • Type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar and press Enter.
    • Click on “Hardware and Devices”.
    • A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and your hardware troubleshooting will start.

    Earphone doesn't support in windows 10

    Windows Not Recognizing Earphones

    Earphones not working

    Recently received my Windows 7 / Samsung Focus phone. All setup and syncing music and even adding NetFlix with no problems. However, when I plug in the earphones...the sound continues to come from the phone speaker. The earphones
    do not have any sound output to them. I'm trying to figure out if this is a hardware issue or if there is something that I haven't found yet related to enabling the earphones.

    Any Suggestions?
