    Windows not remembering position nor size since the last update!


    SO this last update introduced a bug, I think. If it's a feature it's not one I like. The subject line says it all.I am on Windows 11 Pro and it's fully updated. If you coders from MS are watching these forums please fix this issue. It's not a deal breaker but it's rather annoying.And yes, I'm well aware of the Folder & Search Options tab that tells Windows to save a specific way one wants to view things and that's not working as it should, obviously!     Remembering Window Position

    I have Windows 11 and cannot save window position and size after shutdown. It will remember when it's opened/closed during the day without shutdown. After re-starting it will open to a fixed prior position, but not the last one prior to shutdown.

    I have tried all recommended actions on line, tweaking the bagMRU registry setting, "restore previous folder windows at logon" from Folder Options, etc., nothing seems to work.

    Anyone have suggestions on how to do this so I don't have to adjust window position after startup? Thanks for all suggestions.

    Nice if Start screen "remembered" its position

    This is not really a problem to be solved now, but a suggestion to Microsoft for a future update or version of Windows.

    It would be nice if the Start screen remembered its position. For example, if I open the Start screen and scroll down to those applications that start with the letter "W", the next time I open the Start screen, it reverts back to displaying the top of the
    list. It would be nice if it "remembered" I was on "W" and opened at that position.
