Windows 10: Windows notifications disappear immediately

I've been trying to get notifications working on Windows 11, as I've never used them in the past. I'd like to now, with Microsoft To Do, Mail, and even Gmail through Edge. However, as soon as a notification pops up, it disappears from the side of the screen, and the notification panel is empty. It makes the notifications pretty useless. How can I fix this?

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Update your Windows to the latest version is the best way to solve the "Calculator app disappears immediately after clicking on it" issue. The steps for it is very simple and are as follows:

• Get notifications from apps and other senders
• Show notifications on the lock screen
• Show alarms, reminders, and incoming VoIP calls on the lock screen
• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.
