Windows 10: Windows Notifications Does Not Open Notifications From Daily Mail

I want to know why it is that when I get a notifications from the Daily Mail that they will not open. Every time I click on an article, it just disappears but it never opens the Daily Mail article. What's the problem? I am running Windows 10 Pro.Ken.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

 

Real time notifications

May have already been posted before so apologies if that's the case.

But it would be kinda neat if you could get real time notifications/push notifications from TPU for instance when on a different tab you see a (1) notification on the TPU tab to tell you, you have a message, notification etc and likewise on the mobile app push notifications for messages and replies to subbed threads would be cool without having to open the app and reload.

 

Mail app not receiving notifications

It seems that the Mail app is not running in the background. To show the app in the "Notifications & Actions" settings page, we suggest running it in the background. To do so, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key + i to open Settings, then select
  Privacy.
  
• In the left pane, select Background apps.
• Under Let apps run in the background, toggle the switch to turn on or off the background apps.
  
• Once you're done, you may now turn on the Mail app in the "Notifications & Actions" settings page to get notifications.
