  1. windows/office completely confused between different users

    Hi

I have a PC, I do a bit of work for other folk and sign into their adobe accounts to complete. Consequently I have three accounts set up on my PC. Three users. 2 are microsoft accounts, 1 is a local account.

My main account is for work, that has onedrive signed into my works account. My works exchange is on outlook on this account.

When I log into the other accounts on the same PC, windows or Office is just totally confused. The first thing it asks me is that I am signed out of one drive and to sign back in, if I click to do so, it pulls up my works email to log in, from my main account? really?

When I launch outlook on the other 2 accounts, it does not just open to the emails I set for it, it asks me to sign into exchange from my main account?

Surely this is not only a pain, but ultimately a security concern?

How can I prevent windows from mixing all my accounts on the same PC?

  2. Kreij Win User

Current active users that are friends

The other reason I suggested this is that users can add characters to their username that are not alphanumeric (e.g. user*). This confuses things somewhat when looking at the list.

Windows Updated(16299.309).KB4088776 Restart is required to complete.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Thanks for the suggestions and for the time to respond windows/office completely confused between different users :) Best regards.

And thanks for the tip of that program, I'll have it on my list.
