Windows 10: Windows.old program transfer

    Windows.old program transfer


    Got a config sys error message when attempting to boot up. Could not boot up my computer windows 10, nor could fix it using troubleshoot using my recovery disk. I reinstalled windows 10. My old files and programs are now on a file Windows.old. My concern is : Is there a way to transfer my old programs located on Windows.old to the new installed Windows 10 Program file?

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

    Ghost is dos/windows. Partition magic as well. Paragon I'm not sure and g4l means ghost 4 linux, you figure that one out. They basically just copy/modify partitions. So you're copying your whole Windows installation as well.

    wow, I didnt know there were programs for this. alot of them list the operating system as linux, though. does this mean they run on linux, or that they can only be used on a linux partition?
