    Recently decided to upgrade and build a new pc, spent weeks gathering the parts i really wanted to operate off of, and stumbled into an issue with being allowed to boot an m.2 with my install media, as it wouldnt appear in the list of bootable drives. i jumped through a number of hoops and driver/bios updates to get it working properly, and even then had to have cpm and several other settings enabled for the drive to be bootable. now that its installed windows to it and can boot, im afraid to even attempt turning cpm and the other undesirable setting back off, as it may cause a rerun of todays

    Computer won’t sleep after switching to Aorus X570 Master mobo. I reset Windows 10 and also reset CMOS battery.

    Hi, i recently completed a new build and the computer will not sleep when I activate sleep mode. It just re-boots with the fans going crazy. It will not sleep on it’s own either. Ryzen 7 3800x, Aorus X570 Master mobo.

    i reset Windows 10 and also the CMOS. No luck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    High end B550 or Standard X570?

    But the X570 chipset is a better choice because of the following B550 chipset limiting features.


    You loose a couple of Sata ports also when the Express lanes are filled on B550 & in my Aorus Elite B450 mobo I have I loose 2 sata ports with 1 m.2 & 2 sata ports with 2 X m.2.

    Until they make something better than a X570 chipset I am not buying any other board myself.

    Also see below when you use the second m.2 slot that is only PCi 3.0, this is why Auros X570 Elite is better.
