    Windows PC internet keeps cutting out unexpectedly


    Hi,


    For a while now my PC seems to be fully turning off my network connection at unpredictable moments. It seems to only be when I'm doing intensive things like playing video games, which lead me to believe it could be to do with the PC turning off the Ethernet adapter to 'save power'. However, I've turned off every power saving setting I could find and it hasn't helped. Every time this happens, there's nothing I can do except wait for between 5-30 seconds and then it resets itself and turns back on automatically.


    I've googled this many times but have never been able to find a solution, so I'd be grateful for some more ideas of things I could try. I'll be happy to give more details if needed.
