    Windows Phone Link destroys my ears when someone calls me


    I use Phone Link with my S21+ which works perfectly for most everything except calls. Whenever someone calls me. an indescribably loud static and noise starts blasting through my headphones on my PC. It is the single loudest sound that my PC has ever produced. It only happens with my PC. other bluetooth devices are fine. I don't use any other bluetooth peripherals with my PC. I have no idea what could be causing this and was wondering if anyone else experienced this or has a fix.

    Head Phone or Ear Wioks

    I am wanting to be able to listen to my tv using some kind of device so that my wife will NOT complain about me have the sound on the TV too loud.

    I don't really care for head phones. I prefer what I call an ear wick which are soft sound devices I can insert in to my ears and listen.

    BTW my recliner is about 15 feet from the TV. There are two different sound plug-ins on the back of the tv; a single out plug output and a double plug output.

    Any suggestion would be helpful.

    In ear phones i suggest rubber cushions *Wink Windows Phone Link destroys my ears when someone calls me ;)

    I understand your concern regarding the issue that you are facing.

    I suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps

    Method 1: Troubleshoot

    Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Ear phone. Refer these steps:

    • Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
    • Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
    • Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

    I suggest you to update all the drivers from the manufacturer web site and install and check if it helps
