  1. Windows Phone Link Does Not Recognize Standalone Microphone

I have a Sennheiser microphone through a Focusrite solo interface, which works amazingly well for everything... except Windows Phone Link. The Phone Link app recognizes the headphones that are, also, plugged into the interface, so the app doesn't seem to have any issues recognizing the hardware or accepting that it's the default for Sound. Why not Recording, then?Interestingly, Teams is able to access the microphone no problem, which really makes this look like a Windows Phone Link specific problem. And yes, before I get the copy-paste reply, I have reinstalled the drivers. And no, Phone Link is

  2. Phone link and microphone not working

If you can use your microphone in other applications but not in Phone Link, it may be that Phone Link is not correctly identifying your headset microphone.

I suggest you try connecting another headset with a microphone to test if the problem still occurs.

I also suggest that you check if your Phone Link and Windows are up to date. If not, update to the latest version.

Logitech headsets usually install a separate driver. I suggest you try uninstalling this driver and use the basic sound driver that comes with Windows as follows.

Press Win + X to open the Power User Menu. Select "Device Manager".

In Device Manager, expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" category.

Find your Logitech headset device, which will usually be listed as "Logitech" or something related.

Right-click your Logitech headset device. Select "Uninstall device".

In the confirmation dialog box that pops up, check the "Delete the driver software for this device" option (if available)

After the uninstall is complete, restart your computer. Windows will try to automatically install a compatible basic sound driver.

I think I'll put a list of people's favourite apps in the OP, starting with my own until I get some suggestions, but you can take a look at the Windows Phone app store at the top apps to see what's popular http://www.windowsphone.com/en-us/store

You are both now added, welcome! *Toast :toast:
