Windows 10: Windows Photo Viewer flashing white

Hello, Im using the old windows photo viewer and its flashing white for a split second ever time Im opening or closing a picture and starting or ending a diashow. I've had this problem before and somehow fixed it but I have no idea how. I just installed a fresh windows 10 version, updated it, updated my drivers and got this problem again.I tried copying and pasting my "Programs/Windows Photo Viewer" folder from my previous windows installtion, where the bug was fixed, but it didnt help. I honestly have no idea how to tackle the problem now and I really hope someone could help me.

Im using the old Windows Photo Viewer on Win 10 (64 Bit) and every time I close it its flashing white for a split second. Going through pictures gives me a headache so its pretty annoying. It seems to be also occuring when opening/closing a diashow.

Maybe it is related to the background color? I changed it from white in the registry. (Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Photo Viewer\Viwer\Background Color)

I had this problem for a while now and even setting up windows anew didnt fix it. Please help me

Replacement for photo viewer

Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx
