    There are many threads here and elsewhere about this bug in Windows Photo Viewer but none of them are offering a real solution. Most point back to a 2009 thread that isn't valid - you can't follow the steps anymore because things aren't where it says they are. In my Color Management control panel app it shows I have no profiles associated with my monitors, so I can't delete them.This is a plain and simple bug in the program. Why aren't Microsoft fixing it? When I click on the image it opens the photo viewer, shows me the image for a fraction of a second and then tells me it can't show me the i

    Replacement for photo viewer

    Win ver 19041.388

    Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

    I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

    I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.
