Windows 10: windows photo viewer

today when opening up a photo with windows photo viewer i noticed something i did not get the other day. now hen i open up a photo I t says loading on every picture i hit as of Friday i had sent a photo from my email to my desktop and opened it it came right up now that same picture says loading these photos do open but it says loading now. I did got to ultimate windows tweaker 4.8 and did activate windows photo viewer and applied the tweak but did not create a restore point so now i have no way to revert it if that was it l also did the d same in winero tweaker w

Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

I have downloaded this, and it did not work; photo viewer is not in the list of programs in Open With or Default App. I used option 2 step 3, followed by step 5 to 9.

I just use the Photos app for a quick view, otherwise I use Adobe Lightroom to view and edit photos.
