    Window's Photos App doesn't open photos at max size anymore.


    Only recently has this happened, where I as much as I edit the window size manually or expand it through the maximize button, once I close the window and open it again it remains at the default small size. How do I get it to save the window size at max like before?

    Photos are opening with Paint instead of Photos app

    Hello,

    It's likely that your default application for opening photos is Paint. To change your default program in Windows 10 from
    Paint to the Photo app, we suggest that you perform the following steps:

    • On the Start menu, select Settings.
    • Go to System, then go to Default apps.
    • Select Photos or any app that you like to be the default under
      Photo viewer.

    Update us if the steps above helped you in resolving your concern.

    How to ensure that all of your photos open at max size?

    Hello, this is a minor problem, one that is just mainly a pet peeve of mine. I've been trying to figure out where the Windows Photo viewer properties are because I want it to always opens at max size. And when I say max size, I mean that whenever I create a new tab/window with this(or a new photo), it'll open at Maximize size. Now, while the first tab/window opens at max size, every tab/window that comes after the first open tab does not. And that bugs me because I want all my tabs/window to be at full size. So, anyone knows how to solve this issue? As I said, I've tried to find Windows Photo viewer properties, since you can set an application property to always open at max size. However, I'm having trouble finding that. If anyone else has a better way of achieving the same result, then please let me know.
