Windows 10: Windows Photos Extension API

Discus and support Windows Photos Extension API in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; It will be great if Windows Photos had an API to write new extensions and maybe publish them in Microsoft Store like HEIF Image Extension.     Windows Photos Extension API


    It will be great if Windows Photos had an API to write new extensions and maybe publish them in Microsoft Store like HEIF Image Extension. I know the structure of multiple extension like .dds, .tga and more and I can write usefull extensions.

    Replacement for photo viewer

    Win ver 19041.388

    Just do not like this "new" photo viewer, it is just cumbersome to operate, lot of extra steps etc. I like the older Win photo viewer, however since JPG files are saved as "unhandled Extension handler finder", *Confused I need something else. Appreciate any suggestions that is not overly optioned, just a simple viewer. Tx

    How to change File type on Windows 10 - File Extension Change

    Windows 10 my jpegs. open with paint. Is that normal? It was a photo and opened in paint. I want to see the page of all the file extensions to see what they are opening. Somehow my friend has changed her DIP program to opening with pngs and thy won't open at all. she needs to change them back to what they were. I have looked online anf found nothing that helps...too complicated. Could I please get a step by step 1, 2, 3 etc list to help her change her program extension to the right one. Please and thank you.
