Windows 10: Windows Photos new not showing all photos in my case was showing none - CAUSE IDENTIFIED !!!

I have reporting this issue many times over many months with absolutely NO feedback from Microsoft, ever since the lauch of the new Photo App. ISSUE:The new Photo App since its launch does not show ANY photographs on one of my PCs whilst they are there in the Photos Library and both Photos Legacy and File Explorer Gallery show them ALL.I have now identified what the cause for this issue is at least one cause, completely by accident ---- doing Microsoft's job for them ---- and hoping that, now that I am providing this information to them, they might actually fix the app!!!ROOT CAUSE:If a ph

Windows 10 Photos App: Missing / Not Showing All Pictures

Hi Jim,

It's possible that some missing or corrupted system files are affecting the performance of the Photos app. As initial troubleshooting, run the

Windows apps troubleshooter.

Additionally, we suggest performing a clean boot to find out if this behavior is caused by a third-party
program. This will load Windows with minimal drivers and programs, preventing software conflicts from occurring. If the Photos app shows the missing pictures and folders in a clean boot environment, check the section How to determine what is causing
the problem by performing a clean boot for what to do next.

Note: To return your computer back to normal, check the section How to reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting.

We'd also recommend creating a new user profile to check if this is caused by a corrupted user profile. You may find the steps for doing that through this link.

Furthermore, check if resetting the Photos app solves the problem by following these steps:

• Click Start.
• Go to Settings.
• Click System.
• Click Apps & Features.
• Choose Photos from the list.
• Click Advanced options.
• Click Reset twice.
• Restart your computer.

Windows 10 Explorer Deleted Photos still show up in Photo App viewer

Uploaded vacation photos from camera to external hard drive. Open Windows Explorer to cull the bad ones, extraneous/duplicates. Did that and when I opened up Photo App to view reduced picture set - they are all showing - even the deleted ones. When looking at the list in Explorer there are 17 pictures, the slideshow shows 25. All the deleted ones are still showing up.
I created a new folder and moved only the 17 pictures to that folder and deleted the original one. Guess what? They still show up. Haunted by the bad photos which won't go away! Help - What am I doing wrong?
