    Hello,


    after last update it is said that something happened and my pin is not working. I tried login with my password but i forgot and when i click on forgot my password it loads but immediately goes back to my locked screen. Please help.

    Log-in Pin is incorrect after Anniversary update


    I had the same issue after my update on Windows 10. I knew that my pin hadn't changed but it was saying it was incorrect. So I said that I forgot my pin and it started going through the steps to reset the pin entered my regular password and when the window popped up to set a new pin I said cancel and then I chose the option to set my pin later. I exited the screen, logged off logged back in, and set up a new pin which happened to be the same pin I had before and it worked. If this still doesn't work I can show step by step screen shots if you need. I have a surface 3 with Windows 10 fully updated 10.0.14393.0

    Password or Pin after update

    Underneath the password box, click Sign-in options, choose password key icon then sign in.

    Temporarily setup the pin the remove it after setup using the following steps:

    After setting up the PIN and arriving at the desktop...

    Click Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign in options

    Under PIN, click 'I forgot my PIN'

    Enter the password associated with your Microsoft account followed by OK.

    On the next page, click Cancel and no new PIN will be added.

    Pin not available after update and I forgot my password

    I've recently updated my HP Windows 10 version and after the update I can't use my pin anymore it says "Something happened and your pin isn't available" I have a password as a sign-in option but its been long since I used that password and I have forgotten
    it. Is there a way I can open my account trough my PIN again?
