    Windows 10 power settings

    Hello Matthew,

There are a couple of reasons why your computer's power and sleep settings do not get retained. Corrupted internal power system files and software conflicts can also trigger the issue with your power settings. For us to figure out what's causing this, provide
more details by answering these questions:

    • Have you made any recent changes to your device prior to this happening?
    • Did it use to work before?
    • Are there any third party software or applications installed on your PC?

As an initial step, we advise that you run the Power troubleshooter. This will help you to resolve and diagnose any power related issues. Kindly follow these steps:

    • Press Windows logo + X key.
    • Select Control Panel.
    • Click Troubleshooting.
    • Click on View All at the left pane and select
      Power
      .
    • Run the troubleshooter.

    Your reply is greatly appreciated.
