Windows 10: Windows PowerShell closes immediately after opening, and sfc /scannow found "corrupt files...

I was trying to open windows powershell, even ran it as admin. It just closes immediately after opening, the powershell window stays blank. Looking online to find some answers, I found some people saying I should open command prompt and run the following:"DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth", followed by "sfc /scannow."After doing the former, cmd prompt got to 62.3% then gave "Error: 1726 The remote procedure call failed.The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log"After I started the sfc scannow, cmd prompt gave "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files bu

Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:

• Open WinRAR application in your system.
• Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
• A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
• Now click Open button.
• Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
• Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
• Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
• Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
• WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.

Corrupted files still there after sfc/scannow

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10. I would like to ask you:

• What issues are you facing on the computer, for which you ran the SFC scan?

I would suggest you to try the following steps to repair these files:

a) Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command Prompt (Admin)”.

b) In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

c) Close the command prompt after this step.

Now, restart the computer and check. Please post back your results for further assistance.
