Windows powershell running on task manager on its own

Hello,This has been happening for over a week now, whenever I turn on my Pc within 30mins powershell quickly flashes on the desktop and then it appears on task manager as 2-4 process. over time both processes would be using up to 4000mb of memory each. my antivirus scan reported clean, same with windows defender. Nothing pops up on task scheduler too.All these process points to the same location in system32 folder.I placed the powershell file on virus total and it also came out clean.I also just disabled cmd and powershell in computer management but that didn't help.Do i uninstall powershell?

    :)

    Task Manager not running

I have added a new task to the ones already populated which I suppose were in Win7
The new task or the present tasks are not running as there is no entry in the history or
    recently run file
are there other steps necessary to get the new task manager to start up ?

    Hi,

Thank you for replying with the status of this issue.

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

    Follow the steps:

    • Open the Task manager. Here’s a tip: Press CTRL+Shift+ESC.
    • Click File > Run New Task
    • Make sure you have a check mark beside “Create this task with administrative privileges”
    • Type Powershell
    • Type the following in the Powershell prompt:

      $manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest
    • Close the PowerShell window
    • Reboot
Let us know the status and write to us for further assistance.

    We’ll be glad to assist.

No restart button in task manager

another easy way to kill tasks, download and install Winaero Tweaker(free) and theres a setting to add a Kill non responding tasks using the desktop right click menu. When you place your cursor on the desktop anywhere and right click the option is at the top of the list, Very handy and you dont have to go through all those steps and well Winaero Tweaker has alot of cool Windows tweaks. Just posting a different suggestion, Im sure your ok with what was suggested here.
