    windows preview insider build 17692.rs_prerelease_flt.180625-1624


    was a success after the 3rd attempt to update BUT everything is slow powering on is slow launching apps is slow everything even typing doesnt instantly show on the screen its delayed i have gave feed back several times and no help i want to keep the build i like the new features BUT my whole system performance is VERY SLOW even mouse movement and scrolling start up is slow just everything is can you help with this

    Copy of Evaluation.Build 17692.rs_prerealese_flt.180625-1624 the computer does not open the start menu and Cortana and deleted the file from the previous installation, I would like to reinstall the update can you help?

    Please keep in mind you are running a Windows Insider Preview build not intended for production and can sometimes contain bugs and broken features. I would recommend you file a bug report using the feedback hub and consider downgrading to a released version
    such as Windows 10 1803.

    If you want to reinstall the build.

    Press Control + Alt + Delete

    Click Sign out

    Hold down the shift key on your keyboard while clicking the Power button on the screen.

    Continue to hold down the shift key while clicking Restart.

    Continue to hold down the shift key until the Advanced Recovery Options menu appears.

    Click Troubleshoot

    Click Reset this PC

    Click Remove Everything

    Fully clean the drive

    Click Reset

    ADDED: If you have a Surface Studio, it will fail to update to Builds 17682, 17686, and 17692. This bug is fixed and you will be able to update to the next build we flight.
