Windows 10: Windows Pro Upgrade Purchased but Installed Windows Enterprise PLUS Failed Activation

Windows 11 Pro Upgrade Purchased but Installed Windows Enterprise PLUS Failed Activation Bought the upgraded Microsoft 11 Pro from the Microsoft Store right on my laptop. I installed all the updates and the system showed activated. From the control panel I was referred to the Microsoft Store to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. After paying my $99, I got a blue box that allowed me to upgrade. Instead of installing Windows 11 Pro, the System screen now shows that I am running Windows 11 Enterprise. The system screen also now shows that Windows requires activation. I tried activating and it failed

Yes - I was charged $99 and I have the upgrade shown as purchased in the Microsoft Store.

Sumit's suggestion has allowed Windows to activate and I now show my installation as Windows 11 Pro. Thank you.

Bought an LG Gram computer from Costco which came with Windows 11 Home. I installed all the updates and the system showed activated. From the control panel I was referred to the Microsoft Store to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro. After paying my $99, I got a blue box that allowed me to upgrade. Instead of installing Windows 11 Pro, the System screen now shows that I am running Windows 11 Enterprise. The system screen also now shows that Windows requires activation. I tried activating and it failed. I also tried the troubleshooter and it failed.

The box the computer came with did not have a Windows Activation Code and from what I've read the activation code is now in the form of a digital product license key.

I'd appreciate any and all help.

 

Just purchased the Windows 10 home to pro upgrade, following update Windows is showing as version enterprise, and cannot activate with code 0x803F7001

As per the title, I just purchased the Windows 10 home to pro upgrade via my Microsoft account linked to my PC, and following this immediately clicked the install button.

Following the reboot, i find that it lists the version of Windows as Windows 10 Enterprise and that it cannot be activated with the error code: 0x803F7001

I have no idea why the Enterprise version has been installed, as I was expecting the Pro version, I am also assuming this is why the activation is failing as the digital upgrade I purchased was for the Pro edition.

Any suggestions on how I can fix this? All searching through the Microsoft documents pointed me at a US phone number (I'm UK based) or this help community.
