Windows 10: Windows Pro

Is there any reason why a Surface Pro 7 would not be able to be upgraded from the Home version that it is supplied with to 10 Pro?. The reason I ask is because earlier this week I bought a copy of Windows 10 Pro on USB & the serial was refused nor would it boot from the USB or open when I tried starting install from the exe file. Today I tried to install from another copy I bought since and for some reason this one just installed an older copy of 10 home I had v21H1 and it reverted it to 2004 I didn't think it could go backwards but it did. windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Can't upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Pro

I suggest you to download and create an installation media for Windows 10 Pro form the link provided below:

Download Windows 10

After the installation media is created, suggest you to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro from the installation media. When the upgrade asks for product key, enter the product key purchased for Windows 10 Pro. If it does not accept, suggest you to skip the activation
step. After the Operating System is installed, suggest you to activate by phone by following the steps below:

• Press “Windows key + R” and type “slui 4” and press Enter.
• Select the Region from the list and click Next.
• Call the Toll-Free number provided on top and can activate via phone.
