Windows 10: Windows problem with power troubleshooting

In event viewer i noticed 2 kernel errors, so i decided to run power troubleshooting. In the edit power plan window my pc had turning off the display set to 10min and putting the computer to sleep to 30 minutes. However after i ran the troubleshooting, it changed my settings to 5 and 15 minutes, and for me it's really short. I'm afraid in the future it'll shorten the time even more. Can I ignore the errors and troubleshooter recommendations and set my settings back to 10 and 30?

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Windows 10 Power Settings

Since the problem still persists, we suggest that you run the Power troubleshooter to research further and correct the issue:

Run the Power troubleshooter and check.

Follow the steps to run the troubleshooter:

• Open Control Panel.
• Type Troubleshooting in search and click
  Troubleshooting.
• Now type Power in the search option.
• Click on Power troubleshooter to run.

Meanwhile, can you also check if you have the the most updated Display drivers?

Power Icon disappeared

Hardware Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with power. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Power.

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
• Run the Power troubleshooter.

And also install all the latest drivers (Graphic) from the manufacturer web site.
