Windows 10: Windows Problems

I've been having lots of problems today.

When i signed in a message popped up saying my desktop is not available C:WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop I managed to sort that problem but now I've encountered lots of other problems.

• My desktop is black, I cannot change it
• my taskbar is different with the default icons
• I cannot search using the taskbar search does not allow me to type
• The text is kind of blurry so when I go into settings then system to sort that, the settings app just closes
• I cannot open Google Chrome

I have spent all evening trying different methods to fix things but none have worked.


Any help please?

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...


That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
