Windows 10: Windows program Download error

I can't download Windows program. Th error message is Download error of Windows 11 version 22H2.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

I suggest you to install the program in clean boot state and check if the issue persist.

Place your computer in clean boot state and check if it helps.

Error: Couldn't download - virus scan failed message when trying to download a program

However, please let us know:

• May I know the program that you are trying to download?
• Which browser are you using?
• Are you able to download any other programs?

I would suggest you to try using a different browser like Microsoft Edge and see if that helps.



If you are receiving this error while using Google Chrome, I would suggest you to refer the section
"Virus scan failed" or "Virus detected" in the article Fix file download errors
and see if that helps.
