Windows 10: windows programs crashing after launching.

Hi, since turning on my pc today 13/08/2021, nearly every single windows program is crashing, examples Edge, Recovery, windows explorer, windows picture viewer, Xbox app, Sticky notes and back up settings, i have only noticed today and was using my computer the previous day 12/08/2021 with no problems at all, i did notice that there were updates that were installed when i logged into windows 13/08/21 they are, Feature update to Windows 10, version 21H1, 2021-08 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8 for Windows 10 Version 20h2 for x64 KB5004331, Windows Malicious Software Removal T

all games crash!

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

 

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

Method 1.

I recommend you to uninstall and reinstall the app which are crashing and check.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Control Panel.
  
• Click on Programs and features, locate for the programs and
  uninstall it.

If the issue still persist, try the below method.

Method 2.

I suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter
and check if this helps.

  Press Windows + X keys on the keyboard and select Control Panel.

  Type Troubleshooting on the search bar on the Control Panel.

  Click on view all and click on
  System maintenance.

  Click on Advanced on the System maintenance dialog box and click on Run as administrator (Enter the credentials if required).
