Basically, i want to screenshot my primary screen without including my second screen, and also save the picture at the same time.

Is this only possible by manually pasting it into something like paint, or can i directly make and save a screenshot with one key combination?

  2. Issues with taking screenshots of the screen and finding Screenshot folder on Windows 10.

    WinKey +Fn + PrntScrn

Copies the whole screen to the clipboard and saves (as .PNG file) to the Screenshots folder located under Pictures.

    Fn + PrntScrn

Copies the full screen to the clipboard but doesn't save to file. Open Paint to paste and save it.

    Fn + Alt + PrntScrn

Copies the current window to the clipboard but doesn't save to file. Open Paint to paste and save it.

  3. Snipping Tool/Screenshots blurry

    Try:

Press PrntScrn, open Paint, paste the file and save it.

    (or)

Use WinKey + PrntScrn. It saves the screenshot of your entire screen to a PNG file in Pictures\Screenshots folder.

    Hi Wasim,

Please answer the below questions to assist you better.

    1. What happens when you try making changes in the registry?

    2. Where exactly does the picture get saved?

I suggest you to try the DISM (Deployment Image Servicing and Management) tool and check for system health
and then try saving the pictures to picture folder.

Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM)is the tool which fixes the Windows corruption error if there are any. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows + X.
    • Click on Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and hit
      Enter.
