Windows 10: Windows puts me in the wrong time zone, wrong location

I've seen others with this post, but none of the suggested answers worked for me. About two weeks ago I noted that all appointments in Outlook were off by an hour, realized my laptop had reset to Mountain time I'm in Pacific. Have spent over an hour with Dell support, nothing fixed. CMOS battery has been replaced, still have the problem. I'm currently working with "set time zone automatically" off, but that's not super-convenient when I travel. And as all was fine two weeks ago, I don't like unexplained problems. Time is set to sync with NIST.gov, though I can no longer find a way to r

Windows is detecting the wrong time zone. What's wrong?

Hi,

I'm normally in Texas but I have been in Panama for a few weeks which is on the same time zone as Texas. Now I am back in Texas (central time) For some reason now, windows thinks im in Pacific time if I let it set time zone automatically. I have location permission on so I don't understand why it is confused about my locations. I have to set the time zone manually. This also affects the weather app which thinks I am in San Francisco! I am on Win10 Home 1909.

 

Automatic Location and time is wrong

My location on my microsoft account windows 10 is wrong. it appears in Italy. I live in Australia. I am currently in a different part of Australia but the automatic location keeps putting me in the time zone of Europe. The time is about 8 hours behind
what it should be.

 

Windows 11 keeps Setting the Wrong Time zone And Location

My computer keeps setting the wrong time zone, I had to set it manually, and the wrong presice location, it keeps thinking im in Virginia, but Im In Illinois, anyway to fix this?
