Discus and support Windows randomly disappear need to be restored, moved and resized Win 11 and probably 10 in Windows 10 Gaming to solve the problem; Like the title says, Windows randomly "disappear", File explorer windows will not preview and are instead white or grey, same with resource monitor,...     Like the title says, Windows randomly "disappear", File explorer windows will not preview and are instead white or grey, same with resource monitor, chrome etc.To restore them currently I have to right click the previewed window, restore which doesn't display on screen, move once moved they tend to be beyond the left of the screen always in the upper left the windows are extremely small, Resource monitor for example only displays a few letters of the title bar and thats it, so obviously needs to be resized.This can happen again within minutes of fixing the problem.Hopefully there's a way

    Hi Bob,

    There may be several reasons why you are unable to resize or move applications after installing an update. To better assist you with your concern, we would like you to answer the questions below:

    • Does it happen only on one application?
    • Which application are you having issues resizing or moving?

    In the meantime, we suggest you to run the Windows 10 troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key +X, select
      Control panel
    • Change the view by option on the top right to
      Large icons
    • Click on troubleshooting and click on the
      view all option on the left panel
    • Run the Windows Store apps troubleshooter
    Let us know how it goes.

    moving and resizing

    since the latest windows 10 update I cannot resize or move one application. the app works on every other laptop or desktop in the house (none of which have had the latest win 10 update)

    Favourites keep disappearing randomly from Windows Explorer 11

    For some reason my 'favourites' often disappear randomly from Windows Explorer 11 - not all of them and not always the same links.

    I have noted that they then appear in the Recycle Bin. If I restore them they re-appear in Windows Explorer. So it appears that somehow they are being deleted. Any ideas on what is causing this would be appreciated. I am now on Windows 10 but the same problem
    existed with Windows 8.1. Thank you.
