I want to do a windows reinstall because i believe it may solve some freezes i encounter when booting my pc (Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort0) for example.

But i use alot of different software and i have no place to make a backup of it all. I also avoid using programfiles folders, i install my software in my own folder structure also located in C:

I have tried solving the issues i had myself but the fix ended up creating a different worse problem so i had to revert it.

I am a perfectionist when it comes to my System so i cant just accept the minor annoyance at boot but i am also paranoid about undoing all the work i did the last 2 years in sourcing the right software and tools and setting them all up properly.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

There very simple and i've already tried them. The problem that i face is that the software (this app) does not find any updates for me .
Many people across the world have this issues .So you need the proxy etc thing to get it to work.

i dont think anyone here understands what your asking either when its nearly a 90% english dominated Tech forum.
Step 1
reinstall windows from scratch
Step 2
install all drivers from the cd that came with the god damn motherboard *common sense*
Step 3
update windows
Step 4
install misc etc crap like flash java etc etc
Step 5
Install GPU drivers
Step 6
go back to using your pc without issue.
