Windows 10: windows RE missing and no winre.wim

Discus and support windows RE missing and no winre.wim in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; because of many many many problems with microsoft visual c++ and windows update, I would like to do a clean install of windows.     windows RE missing and no winre.wim


    because of many many many problems with microsoft visual c++ and windows update, I would like to do a clean install of windows.


    However it doesn't work either. I get the "windows RE missing" alert message. I have tried the command prompt and reagentc /enable, the dir /a /s c:winre.win, I have checked on c/windows/system32/recovery, and I simply don't have any winre.win.


    How do I fix this?

    Convert ESD file to WIM using DISM in Windows 10


    I just needed to do it to grab the Winre from a newer ESD ISO(the official one from the release date, instead of the one I had the Friday before).

    Just so others know, you need to do these steps if you wish to replace missing or corrupt Windows system files and libraries(.dll)(not so sure about replacing folders though).

    *InfoIt must come from a Install .wim and not .esd

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
