Windows 10: Windows real time protection and security not working

Hello team,I feel like I may have some sort of malware on my pc and need this resolved as soon as possible. I have tried several solutions on this forum and youtube and nothing has worked so far.Issue details:- Windows security app not working at all, all functions are either blank or greyed out- I cannot activate real time protection, greyed out'- Unable to run any scans, when I click to run a scan, no time elapses and nothing happens- Some settings state: ' This setting is managed by your administrator' even though it is my personal pc and it has admin rights sole accountResolutions attemp

If you have Windows 10, you are getting the latest antivirus protection with Windows Defender. Windows Defender actively helps in protecting your PC from malware (malicious software), viruses, and security threats. Windows Defender uses real-time protection.

To turn Windows Defender real-time protection on or off, follow the steps below:

• Select the Start button, then select Settings >
  Update & Security.
• Select Windows Defender, then turn Real-time protection
  on or off.
