Windows 10: Windows reboot loop after update kb5033372 - can't even reinstall windows - Urgent!

Hello, After update kb5033372 cumulative 64x my windows could never complete the installation and crashed after reboot at 32% initiating a loop where it can't neither boot nor complete the instal. I could only fix with running a restore point. After that I tried to manually download the problematic file from the site instead of using windows update. File installation was fine but again when manually reboot to complete install it crashed at 32%. Can't complete the installation and can't reboot either. But this time the system restaure point via troubleshooting was not there anymore. Unable to r

Windows Update suddenly hangs?

Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?

• Which version of Windows is installed on the computer?
• What did the HP supported suggested you to fix the issue?

Windows updates won't install!

I had the same problem when i repaired my O/S, i forgot the steps on how to fixed it, but it is in the microsoft support forum.

You have to reinstall the windows updater, then restart the updating service.
